• Delivered nutrition education to staff, children, cooks and parents associated with child care centers and elementary schools in the South Bronx, Brooklyn and Harlem as part of the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene’s federally-funded SNAP Ed Program
• Helped develop Public School curriculum which included academic integration (i.e.: math, science, language arts) when grant was expanded to include public school children pre-k to 1st grade in September 2010
• Planned/prepared food and activities and developed informational materials relating to proper nutrition for children and adults according to USDA provided curriculum
• Worked with day care center education directors to promote the program internally and externally, implemented and completed all necessary documentation as per the City, State and Federal requirements
• Participated in team meetings for the planning, marketing and communication to maximize attendance and effectiveness of the program
